Our Goal

This is the year your son or daughter will grow in unique ways. They will have exciting new adventures which will challenge them in new ways. After earning their Bear Badge, the scout may earn belt loops by completing additional adventures. 

Summary

 The scout with their family outside of the den does much of the Bear rank advancement. The parent signs off in the scout's handbook, and the Den Leader records the advancements from the handbook on a tracking chart. The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement. Still, this gradually changes with the scout doing more with his or her den and more individual direction as they graduate to Webelos.
